WATER RECLAMATION

Location: San Jose, California

Client: FMC Ground Division

LEE provided services for the design, manufacture and construction of a water reclamation plant utilizing advanced treatment technology.   An Electro Dialysis Reversal (EDR) was used to reclaim70 gallon per minute (GPM) from 87 GPM of wastewater from the plating operation.  The plant was designed and constructed to allow for future expansion to reclaim up to 240 GPM of water.  The project won an award from the City of San Jose, recognizing FMC for their part in water conservation.

All systems were manufactured based on Underwriter Laboratory (UL) standards and all systems bear a UL stamp.

During the construction of the treatment pad, contaminated soil was excavated.  From LEE's exhibited capability of handling such obstacles, LEE was contracted to excavate the contaminated soil and haul it off site while staying within the schedule.

LEE also obtained the necessary Hazmat permits and those required by the fire and building departments.
