| The project included a 1.8 MGD secondary sewage treatment plant, disposal via percolation, 2 miles of sewer main and a major pump station. Engineering studies, design, O & M manual, construction management, start-up liaison services with community agencies and the public were also provided. The process construction was funded by the State and Federal government as an innovative technology with proven ease of operation and a minimum of 25 percent reduction of energy requirement. The plant was also given a "Best Plant of the Year" award by California Water Pollution Control Association. | |||||
